Home Warranty Insurance

When it comes to Home Warranty Company claims always request Ideal Services.

In the event that you have placed a claim with your home warranty company and they are requesting service on your behalf; we ask that you please take into account the following:

• Your warranty company sends us your work order (service request) via fax or email, they do not call us immediately and provide us with your information.

• Ideal Services will contact you to schedule an appointment within two(2) hours of receiving your work order (during business hours).

• If you have a work order that is Emergency status you will receive service within 24hrs of receipt of your work order, Ideal Services will make every attempt possible to service you the day we receive your service request.

• Occasionally, during peak times it may take your home warranty provider several hours to provide us with your service request. We cannot schedule an appointment for you until we have your service request from the warranty company. In order to avoid any confusion, please read through the following guidelines

• Your contract with your home warranty company states that they are to provide service to your home within a reasonable amount of time. Although your warranty company will utilize all efforts to conform to this guideline, occasionally during high volume periods the manpower doesn’t allow for the timeliness that you would like.

• Deductibles are due when the technician arrives at your home. The technician cannot perform any service until this fee is collected.

• In some cases we will have to get authorization from your warranty company in order to make repairs. Ideal Services cannot complete these repairs until we have received this authorization. In the event that repairs require parts that we do not stock on our trucks or parts that are provided by your warranty company; parts will then have to be ordered and repairs cannot be made until parts are received.

• As explained in your contract some repairs may be denied if any unusual conditions are present at the time of service; as these conditions must be reported to your warranty company for consideration prior to any repairs being made. Failures caused by lack of maintenance, code violations, improper installations or other reasons are grounds for denial.

• Some services may not be covered by your warranty company; these are referred to as “non-covered charges”. Some of these include, but are not limited to code upgrades, disposal (as required by the EPA), transitions, unit stands, crane charges, electric, gas, other upgrades, and other services may be excluded. Warranty contracts vary so please refer to your contract for details.

• Warranty companies do not pay for maintenance. Homeowners are responsible for maintaining all equipment in the home. If you fail to properly maintain systems, units, etc. your claim may be denied should it fail.

If you do not see your warranty company listed, please contact us for more up to date information.
